SHADE LAWN

Shady mixture is a selection of winter and summer growing grasses that grows better in shady areas. Do not use a sowing  rate of less than 40g per M² for new lawns. Sow preferably in Autumn or Early spring. Take care that a fine seed bed is prepared especially unedr trees wher compaction is normally a problem.

• Never remove more than one third of the blade length when mowing.
• Never apply any broad leaf weed killers, remove weeds by hand only or ny paint brush

Requires considerably more water and maintenance than Bermuda or Kikuyu for instance.

Sowing density -  

• 20-40 grams per M² or 200-400 kgs per Hectare.

Sowing season -  Autumn or Spring.

Applications:

• Overseeding and or sowing of new lawns in areas where there is too much shade for other lawns to grow.
